Support student safety and positive behavior as a Permanent Lunchtime Supervisor at St. David in Maple. This position offers five weekly hours.
YORK CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD seeks a Permanent Lunchtime Supervisor under the School Principal’s direction. You will monitor students indoors and outdoors, encourage respectful interactions, and communicate concerns or atypical situations. The work supports a safe, caring, positive, and friendly lunch environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students indoors and outdoors during lunch breaks
- Monitor behavior and encourage respect, kindness, and inclusivity
- Report misconduct and concerns to the Principal or designate
- Support appropriate play and identify out-of-bounds areas
- Assist with emergencies, training sessions, and staff meetings
Requirements:
- Less than high school graduation plus additional training or education
- Minimum one month of experience required
- Good communication skills and positive demeanor
- Ability to respect school confidentiality requirements
- Experience working with children and monitoring multiple activities
