Elevate community healthcare as a Nurse Practitioner at Scarborough Academy of Medicine and Integrated Health. Focus on chronic disease management and mentoring nursing students in a full-time, permanent role. Scarborough Health Network is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for its NP Led Clinic. This role involves providing comprehensive health services to individuals without a Primary Care Provider. You will diagnose and treat patients, develop care plans, and guide Master of Nursing-Nurse Practitioner students through practical training. Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate care plans for chronic and acute issues
- Supervise and mentor NP students in clinical settings
- Implement health promotion and education strategies
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging reports
- Liaise with clinical resources for patient advocacy
- Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- 3 years recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
