Kickstart your manufacturing career with Pursuit Aerospace as an Entry Level Machinist in Orillia, Ontario. This full-time role is designed for individuals eager to learn basic and advanced machining processes. You'll work with CNC machines and other tools to support production. Ideal candidates will possess communication skills, teamwork capability, and a willingness to improve continuously. Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Set up and operate various machining tools
- Verify product dimensions using precision measuring instruments
- Fit and assemble metal parts using hand tools
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or 1 year relevant experience
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to read, write, and speak standard English
- Familiarity with shop geometry and trigonometry
- Mobility in a manufacturing environment
