You will work closely with experienced estimators to understand PCL’s manuals, perform quantity surveys, and help with bid document control. A strong desire to excel in this industry and prior field construction exposure are advantageous for candidates. Key Responsibilities:
- Understand PCL’s estimating manuals and systems
- Review quantity survey assignments with the lead estimator
- Perform assigned quantity survey tasks
- Provide major item quantities for purchasing
- Control bid documents and assist on bid day
- Strong desire to work in the construction sector
- Prior field construction experience is an asset
- Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software
- Willingness to develop relationships with subcontractors
- Availability for 4-12 months starting January 2027
