Weeneebayko Area Health Authority (WAHA) is now accepting applications for experienced professional to fill the key role of Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer).

Perform Ultrasounds consistent with Departmental Policies and Procedures, obtaining Diagnostic Imaging for interpretation by our Radiologist team.
Must possess extensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, of ultrasound assessment, ultrasound equipment and infection control procedures
Training and experience working with computers, software and scanners
Graduated from a recognized accredited college/university program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Previous experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in a hospital setting
English is essential for this position
Ability to communicate in the local native Cree language is an asset
