This role involves supporting and monitoring drivers during their shifts by assigning routes and ensuring on-time deliveries. You'll interact with various departments, ensuring all logistical needs are met. Your training and experience in dispatch are invaluable for maintaining top-notch service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign loads and routes to drivers efficiently
- Monitor driver progress and resolve issues
- Provide essential support and information for trips
- Ensure accurate trip sheets and updates
- Handle evening customer service requests promptly
Requirements:
- 6 months to 1 year relevant dispatch experience
- High school diploma required
- Must have industry-specific trucking knowledge
- Experience in city and US dispatching
- Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada
Utilize your dispatch skills to improve logistic operations, ensuring effective communication and timely deliveries are consistently achieved.
