  • Oversee equipment, inventory, and workflow management to support both major and smaller service projects
  • Coordinate field activities including saw cutting, slab work, demolition support, and related mechanical scopes
  • Develop process improvements for scheduling, reporting, and operational efficiency
  • Identify and groom emerging project managers while strengthening non-technical operational leadership

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in mechanical project management, industrial construction, pressure vessel manufacturing, or related heavy mechanical environments
  • Direct experience with pressure vessel design and/or manufacturing (ASME Section VIII familiarity preferred)
  • Strong background in bid reviews, scope analysis, estimating, and commercial oversight
  • Working knowledge of weld procedures, NDT/NDE processes, and applicable mechanical/pressure codes
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with regional coordination
  • Demonstrated leadership experience supervising field teams and coordinators
  • Engineering degree preferred (P.Eng. strongly valued but not mandatory)
  • Willingness to travel between BC and Alberta as required

Ideal Profile

  • Strong client-facing presence with ability to guide customers through technically complex scopes
  • Comfortable operating at a General Manager level while remaining hands-on
  • Balanced technical depth (pressure vessels, mechanical systems) with practical field knowledge
  • Process-driven, organized, and commercially aware
  • Interested in long-term progression into broader operational leadership

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a technically grounded project professional ready to oversee major mechanical and pressure vessel initiatives while shaping operational excellence across Western Canada. Salary expectations are $130,000 – $160,000 CAD.
