Opportunities are based out of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, with province-wide travel required to meet client needs.

This position focuses on the installation, maintenance, and servicing of heat pumps and related HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance, safety and customer satisfaction. Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems, including heat pumps, and air conditioning systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in refrigeration and HVAC equipment
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
Handle refrigerants safely and in compliance with environmental regulations
Comply with all health and safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer specifications
Oversee and mentor apprentices, ensuring safe work practices, adherence to electrical codes, and the development of technical skills in a supportive learning environment
Travel to job sites across the province, including remote locations, as required

Certified Red Seal Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (required)
Minimum 1 year experience as a Licensed Refrigeration Mechanic (required).
Valid Provincial Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both verbally and in writing
Valid Provincial Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
Willingness and ability to travel, including to remote sites

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00AM-4:30PM (35-45 hours/week), occasional overtime is required
Working location: 100% on the road, with travel to various sites
