We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic E-commerce Logistics Optimization Manager to join our growing operations team in Kimberley. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring advanced logistical strategies that reduce delivery times and minimize operational costs. This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of last-mile delivery, warehouse management systems, and data-driven decision-making. Design and implement optimization models for last-mile delivery routes to increase efficiency. Analyze complex datasets to identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and distribution network. Collaborate with warehouse managers to streamline inventory movement and storage protocols. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to delivery speed, cost per shipment, and error rates. Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers to ensure service level agreements are met. Implement new technologies and automation tools within the distribution centers. Advanced proficiency in data analytics and statistical modeling software. Deep understanding of e-commerce fulfillment processes and warehouse management systems (WMS). Strong project management skills with a track record of successful implementation. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field is required. A Master’s degree or professional certification in Six Sigma or Lean Management is highly advantageous. Candidates must possess between 5 to 7 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, specifically within the e-commerce or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.
