Elevate your carpentry skills in a commercial setting as a Carpenter at our company. We seek a Journeyman or Apprentice Carpenter to construct, maintain, and repair diverse structures. As a Carpenter under the supervision of both the Superintendent and Foreman, you'll engage in all aspects of building with wood and lightweight steel. This role emphasizes adherence to safety regulations and Lean practices aimed at continual improvement. You will read blueprints, operate tools, and execute tasks such as framing walls and installing windows, maintaining high efficiency and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Construct foundations, walls, and partitions
- Operate carpentry tools with precision
- Insulate, drywall, and paint structures
- Read blueprints to plan tasks effectively
- Participate in Quality Control initiatives
- Minimum two years’ experience in commercial carpentry
- Knowledge of carpentry principles and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and read blueprints
- Strong communication and detail orientation
- Registered Carpenter Apprentice or Journeyman certification
