Drive financial accuracy as a Bilingual Staff Accountant for M&M Food Market. This role demands full cycle accounting and financial reporting to support several Company-operated stores. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Staff Accountant will handle comprehensive accounting functions, including preparation of financial reports and month-end activities. Candidates should have experience in full cycle accounting and be fluent in both English and French. The position also involves validating sales data and maintaining the general ledger for optimal financial oversight. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full cycle accounting for multiple company operated stores
- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
- Import and reconcile store sales within NetSuite accounting system
- Investigate accounting discrepancies and provide explanations
- Support annual audits with documentation and record organization
- 2+ years in accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual in English and French for communication purposes
