Step into a fulfilling role as a Physiotherapy Assistant, providing essential support in Long Term Care settings. Help residents achieve their rehabilitation goals through tailored therapy programs. You will work under the guidance of a Physiotherapist, interacting closely with residents to facilitate their treatment. With your multi-tasking skills, you'll assist in exercises, document progress, and monitor any changes in health. Your supportive role will be vital in helping residents engage and recover effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct group and personalized exercise sessions
- Assist residents in reaching their therapy goals
- Document treatments and patient progress post-sessions
- Support safe movement and transfer of residents
- Monitor and report changes in health conditions
- Graduate of a recognized Physiotherapy Assistant program
- Strong ability to handle multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills with elderly patients
- Experience in Long Term Care preferred
- Must provide current Vulnerable Sector police check
