At AGAT Laboratories, we seek a dedicated Fire Assay Technician to bolster our laboratory operations. Ideal for candidates with a keen attention to detail, the position emphasizes accurate sample preparation, data verification, and laboratory maintenance. Your skills in problem-solving and communication will be invaluable as you perform analyses and assist in training junior analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and prepare work orders for sample analysis
- Analyze samples per established SOPs and QC requirements
- Maintain and optimize laboratory instrumental conditions
- Troubleshoot and conduct routine instrument maintenance
- Document and verify analytical data accurately
Requirements:
- Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Previous lab experience is an asset
- Capability to lift up to 25 kg
- Willingness to work in hot conditions and wear a respirator
