Winter F&B Attendant, Golden Skybridge Adventure Park

Role & Responsibilities

As an F&B Attendant, you'll run our café-style outlet in the Retail Shop, serving warm drinks and treats that help make a Trailglow visit memorable. You'll work side by side with our Guest Experience and Retail teams, and you'll be cross-trained to support admissions and retail when the café is quiet. Most duties take place indoors in the Retail Shop, with some time outdoors as required.

• Preparing and serving café menu items, such as hot beverages, baked goods and grab-and-go snacks, to recipe, portion and presentation standards
• Ensuring guest satisfaction with prompt, friendly and professional service
• Taking payment from guests for goods and services, ensuring accurate cash, credit, debit and voucher transactions
• Ensuring correct cash and float security during operating hours, and completing cash-out procedures
• Promoting café offerings that complement the Trailglow experience, and applying upselling and cross-selling techniques
• Stocking and maintaining product levels, rotating and labelling stock, and communicating inventory needs to the F&B management team
• Following all food safety, sanitation and allergen procedures
• Maintaining the cleanliness of café service, preparation and seating areas, including opening and closing duties
• Supporting Guest Experience Agent duties when required, including welcoming guests, answering questions and validating tickets
• Supporting Retail Associate duties when required, including operating the retail point of sale, restocking and merchandising, and promoting video packages
• Communicating with co-workers and management
• Assisting other departments when operational needs require, under the direction of the supervisor on duty
• Upholding the high standard of safety and environmental stewardship expected of all employees

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills
• High attention to detail and good communication skills
• Cash handling experience
• Previous café, barista, or food and beverage experience an asset
• Serving it Right certification is mandatory, FoodSafe Level 1 certification an asset
• Ability to quickly learn our POS systems and Ventrata
• Flexible and adaptable, comfortable moving between café, retail and admissions duties within a shift
• Thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment during busy periods
• Punctual and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays (including the Christmas and New Year period)
• Physical demands include standing for long periods, repetitive hand use, bending/twisting, lifting stock, and working around hot equipment and beverages; work is primarily indoors, with periods outdoors in winter conditions

The starting wage for this role is $18.50/hour.
