Develop retail leadership skills at Real Canadian Superstore through a structured Department Manager in Training program focused on customer service and operations.
This training role prepares you to lead a designated department and deliver results for customers, colleagues, and the store. You will learn retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, customer service, and labour management. The program also develops your ability to coach colleagues and support business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn departmental operations and support daily execution
- Drive department sales, profitability, and performance goals
- Coach colleagues in service, products, merchandising, and operations
- Maintain accurate stocking, displays, pricing, and replenishment
- Support compliance, safety, and continuous improvement standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Previous retail management experience is an asset
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Build toward department leadership with Real Canadian Superstore while developing retail operations, merchandising, and colleague coaching capabilities.
