Responsibilities: Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients Administer anesthetics and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals Provide preventive dental care and oral health education to patients Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems such as Abeldent Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development Qualifications: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school Valid state dental license to practice dentistry Proficient in using dental software systems such as Dentrix for patient management Strong knowledge of dental procedures, techniques, and best practices Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff Experience or interest in working with pediatric patients is a plus Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
