Enhance building operations with Equans as a Maintenance Technician II in Surrey, Canada. This full-time role focuses on HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems management. Equans is seeking a reliable Building Technician to join our facilities management team. In this permanent position, you will oversee the operation and maintenance of various building systems, ensuring safety and efficiency for all occupants. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, alongside experience in building maintenance. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance duties
- Assist with maintenance materials and cleanup
- Start up and shut down major building equipment
- Perform minor repairs on plumbing and electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies
- Minimum of 1 year relevant maintenance experience
- Solid understanding of HVAC and building systems
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- RCMP Reliability Status security clearance required
- Basic computer skills, knowledge of BAS is a plus
