Teach Grade 1/2 French Immersion with HCDSB, delivering French instruction mornings and English instruction afternoons in a 1.00 FTE assignment.
The Halton Catholic District School Board offers this long-term occasional teaching assignment within its elementary schools. The position covers a French portion in the morning and an English portion in the afternoon. The assignment is an existing vacancy governed by the applicable collective agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach the Grade 1/2 French Immersion program
- Deliver the French portion during morning instruction
- Deliver the English portion during afternoon instruction
- Fulfill the assignment schedule under the collective agreement
Requirements:
- Qualifications under the Education Act and Regulations
- Ontario Certified Teacher status or applicable transitional certificate
- Transitional Certificate from the Ontario College of Teachers
- Multi-Session Transitional Certificate from the Ontario College of Teachers
Support HCDSB students through Grade 1/2 French Immersion teaching across French mornings and English afternoons.
