This 1.00 FTE position teaches Grade 1/2 French Immersion within HCDSB. Morning instruction is delivered in French, while afternoon instruction is delivered in English. The existing vacancy follows the schedule established by the applicable collective agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Grade 1/2 French Immersion instruction
- Teach French during the assigned morning portion
- Teach English during the assigned afternoon portion
- Carry out duties according to the posted assignment
Requirements:
- Meet Education Act and Regulations qualifications
- Hold Ontario Certified Teacher qualifications
- Hold or have applied for a transitional certificate
- Hold or have applied for a multi-session transitional certificate
