Must be authorized to work in Canada About Our Family
We are a warm, faith-filled, and lively household with six daughters ranging from infant to preteen. Life in our home is full — school runs, activities, a small dog, frequent hosting, and the kind of wonderful organized chaos that comes with raising a big family. Both parents' young adult brothers are living in the home temporarily as well, bringing the headcount in our house to ten people for the time being. We love food, we travel, we host often, and we take pride in a home that feels calm, clean, and welcoming even when everything is moving fast. Our household runs best when someone is quietly and confidently holding it all together behind the scenes. One parent is a business owner who balances working from home with time in the office managing their employees, while the other parent is home full-time with the six girls. We are intentional about connection, whether that's morning coffee each day as a couple, or hosting friends and family in our home. The right person for this role will understand professional boundaries and knows when to give the family space. The role we are hiring for is substantial. This is not a housekeeping position — it is a household management role that requires initiative, creativity, strong organizational instincts, and a genuine love for serving a busy family well. The right person will come in, learn the household, and eventually run it independently without needing a daily checklist. Who You Are / What We're Looking For
The right person for this role can: Create a home that feels effortlessly put together
Anticipate needs without being asked (and handle them proactively)
Notice what’s low, out of place, or could be made more special
Restore order by quietly resetting spaces throughout the day
Support children with warmth, patience, and steady presence
Adapt calmly to the unpredictability of a large household
Read the room and adjust tone, pace, and help accordingly
Assist the family with a hospitality mindset
Prioritize children so they feel valued and never “in the way”
Design seasonal touches and small moments that make the home feel special
Contribute thoughtful meal ideas and planning support
Build organizational systems that actually stick
Apply executive-level thinking to household operations
Take satisfaction in results rather than recognition Key Responsibilities
