Build operational reports with Excel, Power BI, and SQL at WestJet through in-person collaboration up to five days weekly. Support airline performance with accurate, timely analysis.
The Intermediate Analyst, Operational Analytics supports reporting, analysis, and insights across WestJet operations. Working under the Senior Manager, you will maintain dashboards, investigate performance, and contribute to initiatives involving delays, turnaround times, utilization, and reliability. The role requires structured execution and clear stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and data extracts
- Ensure reporting data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
- Analyze delays, turnaround times, utilization, trends, and variances
- Support root cause analysis and operational problem-solving discussions
- Communicate accurate findings clearly to operational stakeholders
Requirements:
- Six-plus years in program or project management
- Intermediate Excel, Power BI, and SQL skills
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional, multi-department initiatives
- Strong change management and transformation skills
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities
