Become a Warehouse & Production Sorter with Savers in Edmonton, AB, and contribute to our mission of sustainability. Sort, separate, and prepare donated goods for local thrift stores. At Savers/Value Village, we are dedicated to championing reuse and giving back to the community. In this position within our Centralized Processing Warehouse, you'll have the unique opportunity to work with a diverse team while impacting the environment positively. Your attention to detail will help maintain productivity and organization on the sorting floor. Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sorting, grading, and pricing donated merchandise
- Ensure continuous supply of items to warehouse departments
- Identify which products are saleable, recyclable, or waste
- Keep the workstation neat and safe for all team members
- Undertake additional duties as directed by management
- Must comply with safety standards while working
- Ability to accurately assess merchandise
- Physical capability for sorting tasks
- Team-oriented with a passion for community service
- Previous experience in the warehouse setting is beneficial
