Join Hatch as an Intermediate Structural CAD Designer and contribute to innovative engineering projects. Use your 5-7 years of CAD expertise to create dynamic 3D models and technical drawings. At Hatch, you will work within a collaborative engineering team on various projects, from buildings to equipment foundations. Your role will involve producing 2D and 3D technical drawings, performing clash detection, and ensuring design safety. Participate in project planning and cooperate with multiple disciplines to achieve project goals efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate to meet project scope, cost, and schedule
- Prepare contract drawings and manage record keeping
- Produce and maintain technical drawings using CAD software
- Perform clash detections with discipline models
- Verify onsite conditions related to existing facilities
- 5-7 years of structural CAD or design experience
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software including Bentley MicroStation
- Knowledge of Canadian structural standards and regulations
- Communication skills and safety awareness
- Experience in multidisciplinary engineering settings
