Lead banquet service at Rogers Centre with customer service expertise, staff supervision, and event operations coordination across scheduled functions.
As Aramark’s Banquet and Bar Captain, you receive guidance from operations leadership while supervising banquet staff, guests, and service execution. You coordinate with clients, culinary teams, and internal departments to support effective food and beverage outcomes. The position requires flexibility for evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays based on events and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct servers, bartenders, cashiers, and coat-check staff
- Enforce Rogers Centre standards during banquet events
- Prepare daily and pre-service briefings
- Monitor buffet and bar replenishment needs
- Maintain client relations and respond to inquiries
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of banquet leadership experience
- Current Ontario Smart Serve Certification required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Previous bartending experience considered an asset
