Transform the grocery industry as a Machine Learning Engineer with Instacart. Use advanced algorithms to solve complex economic challenges in a remote, flexible work environment. As a Machine Learning Engineer in the Economics team, you’ll design and deploy innovative solutions that enhance our marketplace. With a graduate degree in Economics or related field, you’ll apply your economic theory and applied econometrics skills from day one. Collaborate with product managers and data scientists on diverse projects that drive operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy machine learning solutions for economic challenges
- Collaborate closely with product managers and data scientists
- Refine and advance algorithms for operational efficiency
- Share learnings and best practices within the Economics team
- Graduate degree in Economics or related field
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with causal inference methodologies
- Solid knowledge of machine learning algorithms
- 1-3 years of industry experience for senior role
