Support pharmacy patients across Canada as a Relief Pharmacist, using accurate dispensing, clinical services, and strong customer relations skills.
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, this Relief Pharmacist works across different Loblaw pharmacies rather than one fixed location. The position supports receiving, preparing, and delivering prescriptions, counseling patients, maintaining inventory, and addressing doctors’ requests. It also contributes to colleague training, community-based marketing, and public health education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and promptly
- Maintain inventory levels for medications and supplements
- Counsel patients about new and additional medications
- Resolve patient needs and doctors’ requests positively
- Train pharmacy colleagues and deliver clinical services
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Class A Pharmacists license
- Superior customer relations and professionalism
- Leadership, communication, and performance management skills
- Regular travel and reliable transportation required
