District Sales Manager, Medical Surgical Join a leading Canadian distributor of premier surgical products. In this Alberta based role (Calgary or Edmonton), as DSM for the Prairies region, you will grow their surgical portfolio and manage sales and business operations throughout AB, SK and MB while leading a sales team of 3 reps and ensuring all territory sales goals are attained and business growth objectives are achieved. This is an exciting and challenging role for a player/coach sales leader with a focus on leading by example as you work closely with hospital customers throughout demonstrating sales and service excellence and collaborative teamwork while maintaining a strong commitment and adherence to the organization's business strategy and goals. Your daily focus is working in the field augmenting the sales team's efforts and ensuring loyal business connections and excellent customer relationships at all levels. Additionally, you will manage the tender process, negotiate pricing, and develop contract opportunities with various health regions and buying groups. As part of the sales leadership team, you will provide ongoing feedback to senior management on market conditions and products, while always ensuring ethical and professional business conduct. Qualified candidates must possess medical sales experience, along with demonstrated success leading a sales team to achieve and exceed KPIs and sales targets. This is a performance driven organization offering a lucrative compensation plan rewarding results with a salary of $140-155K and quarterly bonus program with total income $185K at plan, plus KM reimbursement, travel expenses, home office, and medical benefits.
