Join Brightshores as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) in Owen Sound, Ontario. This part-time role involves sample collection and diagnostic testing in a collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science and current CMLTO registration.
Key responsibilities
include performing critical tests in Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology while ensuring quality patient care. Continuous learning, excellent phlebotomy skills, and effective interaction with medical staff and patients are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect patient samples following best practices
• Perform diagnostic tests across various laboratory disciplines
• Analyze and interpret test results accurately
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with health regulations
• Participate in hospital initiatives for quality improvement
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science
• Current registration with CMLTO
• 2 years of clinical experience preferred
• Strong phlebotomy skills and laboratory knowledge
