Excel as a Class 1 Delivery Driver with J.D. Irving, Limited, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of building materials. Join a team committed to quality customer service and safety. You will take charge of delivering various supplies to both residential and construction sites. As part of the team, your responsibilities will also include monitoring maintenance records and assisting customers at our retail locations. A hands-on approach to loading, unloading, and verifying loads is crucial in this physically demanding role. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver building materials securely and efficiently
- Assist in the lumber yard and store as needed
- Ensure trucks are prepped and safe for travel
- Maintain dispatch communication for effective deliveries
- Uphold safety standards and report any issues
- Valid Class 1 driver's license mandatory
- Related driving experience is required
- Ability to lift weights up to 55lbs
- Good communication skills, bilingualism preferred
- Proven reliability and safety awareness in work habits
