Teach Quran recitation and Tajweed at MAC Olive Grove School in Mississauga during a seasonal, part-time after-school program. Support students’ learning and growth.
The Quran/Arabic Teacher instructs age-grouped students from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. You will develop lesson plans, explain general ayat meanings, and create an environment supporting spiritual and character development. The program also emphasizes Islamic values, learning discipline, manners, and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Quran instruction with proper Tajweed rules
- Explain general meanings of Quranic ayat
- Contribute to students’ intellectual and personal development
- Communicate student progress with parents
- Ensure student safety during instruction and supervision
Requirements:
- Relevant Quran or Arabic instruction education and experience
- Strong knowledge of teaching practices and child development
- Commitment to Islamic values and ethical conduct
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, careful performance of listed duties
