GDI Ainsworth Winnipeg is hiring a Journeyman HVAC Technician for its Canada-wide building systems company. The work covers air conditioning, heating equipment, drawings, specifications, and customer instruction. You will diagnose systems, service components, and supervise assigned apprentices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install air conditioning, heating, and related equipment
- Overhaul and service heating and air conditioning systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot heating and air conditioning problems
- Repair condensers, compressors, pumps, valves, and piping connections
- Supervise apprentices and explain equipment care to customers
Requirements:
- Journeyman qualification for this technician position
- High School diploma or certified college GED equivalent
- Current driver's license
- Knowledge of HVAC Gas codes, standards, and regulations
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Use HVAC troubleshooting, mechanical service, and customer communication skills while representing GDI Ainsworth in Winnipeg.
