As a property and casualty insurance claims advisor, you maintain member and client relationships while handling high-complexity property claims. You also manage medium-complexity accident benefit and bodily injury claims. Your work applies analytical skills, discipline-specific knowledge, and interpersonal savvy to develop solutions and represent Desjardins.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and inspect damage, costs, and market value
- Produce and review reports and settlement documents
- Analyze medical, financial, and job information
- Determine benefit eligibility using statutory criteria
- Negotiate and settle claims with involved parties
Requirements:
- General College diploma in a related field
- At least four years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of French is required
- Availability for paid 24/7 on-call advising
- Other qualification and experience combinations may be considered
