Join the ranks of the Canadian Armed Forces as an Air Operations Support Technician, focusing on comprehensive aircraft maintenance and support. Conduct vital servicing tasks to ensure aircraft readiness in various operational settings. In this role, Air Operations Support Technicians provide essential support across multiple areas including aircraft servicing, maintenance control, and quality management. You will also engage in security duties at airfields and bases. Required training prepares you for hands-on roles involving aircraft inspections and project management, while providing pathways for career advancement within the military. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute pre-flight and post-flight inspections
- Manage maintenance records and safety documentation
- Perform aircraft handling, refueling, and cleaning tasks
- Assist in airfield security and related duties
- Participate in project management and supply chain activities
- Minimum of Grade 10 education or equivalent
- Successful completion of Basic Military Qualification
- Must meet physical fitness standards
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- No prior military experience required
