Armour Transportation Systems is actively seeking skilled Apprentice Mechanics to enhance our team. Ideal candidates will have a foundation in mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills. Participate in ongoing training, perform maintenance, and engage in a collaborative work environment to ensure safe operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs adhering to safety standards
- Participate in safety and maintenance meetings
- Complete electronic work orders accurately
- Diagnose mechanical issues and communicate parts effectively
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
Requirements:
- Apprentice certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic (3rd/4th year)
- Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with computers
- High professionalism and teamwork capabilities
- Experience with tankers, trucks, or welding is an asset
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training
