Macaulay Centres for Children seeks a qualified Early Childhood Educator for a permanent full-time role. Develop engaging programs that support children’s growth in a nurturing environment. This unique position requires a strong background in Early Childhood Education, including working with special needs children. The educator will create and implement quality programs that focus on emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a respectful and inclusive classroom environment at Dovercourt Child Care Centre in Toronto. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead age-appropriate educational programs
- Supervise children’s safety in a nurturing setting
- Collaborate with parents and support staff effectively
- Facilitate inclusive experiences for all children
- Maintain a clean and safe learning environment
- Early Childhood Education degree/diploma required
- Experience with children with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- First Aid certification and medical records needed
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and email
