Enhance student learning as an Educational Assistant at E.W. Pratt High School in High Prairie. Pratt High School in High Prairie is hiring an Educational Assistant to collaborate with teachers on implementing educational and therapy programs. This position requires a focus on the individual needs of students, particularly those with disabilities or special requirements. Successful candidates will work in a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing Individual Program Plans under teacher supervision
- Help in maintaining classroom discipline and student evaluation data
- Support individual and group activities to foster independence
- Monitor students' safety and learning behaviors
- Participate in field trips and off-campus learning activities
- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
- Three professional references required
- Early Childhood Training or Teacher Assistant Certificate preferred
- Experience with special needs students valued
- Excellent communication skills needed
