CILT seeks an Eligibility Interview Coordinator to streamline assessments in Toronto, Ontario, through a hybrid work model. Your role will directly impact individuals with disabilities and their care needs. As an Interview Coordinator at CILT, you will manage the eligibility assessment process within the Direct Funding Program. This full-time position requires you to apply your understanding of independent living principles and Ontario's health policies when interacting with participants. Your contribution ensures every applicant receives thorough support, enhancing their independence. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead interviews and represent administrative functions
- Maintain accurate interview scheduling and documentation
- Update knowledge on attendant services sector trends
- Conduct interviews both remotely and in-person
- Communicate eligibility outcomes to participants
- 4-5 years experience in social services interviewing
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate challenging interview scenarios
- Experience with diverse applicant needs and situations
