Lead as Principal at VERMILION FORKS ELEMENTARY in Princeton, BC. This position is ideal for an educator passionate about Indigenous rights and inclusive education. The Nicola-Similkameen School District invites applications for a Principal at VERMILION FORKS ELEMENTARY for the 2026-2027 school year. We seek a dynamic leader with a Master’s Degree and extensive experience in elementary education. You will champion student achievement and build a welcoming community for all families. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct leadership in curriculum and program development
- Create a strong sense of belonging for students and families
- Engage with Indigenous communities to improve educational outcomes
- Implement innovative practices to enhance student learning
- Guide instruction and intervention strategies with data use
- Master of Education in relevant fields
- Minimum of five years in teaching
- BC Professional Teaching Certificate required
- Deep understanding of Indigenous educational frameworks
- Proven skills in collaboration and communication
