Job Title: Client Services Coordinator
Reports To: Client Services Team Lead
Job Overview: The Client Services Coordinator delivers high-quality services to Money Mentors’ clients through onboarding, retention, and successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboarding:
    • Work with new OPD-eligible clients to onboard them into the Orderly Payment of Debt program including commissioning affidavits.
    • Solid understanding of all relevant legislation and regulations.
    • Communicate with the Court and creditors to progress files forward to activation.
    • Engage with clients on the progress of their file.
    • Ensure clients understand their rights and responsibilities within the OPD program.
    • Ensure clients are properly set up with payments for OPD.
    • Celebrate and cheer clients on as they begin their OPD journey.
  • Retention:
    • Work with existing OPD clients to support them in maintaining their monthly deposit.
    • Communicate and engage with OPD clients about their situation and budget if they are struggling to maintain their monthly deposit.
    • Influence and motivate clients to get back on track if they make partial or no payments
    • Recommend files to be defaulted after careful analysis.
    • Offer clients who cannot continue their OPD program a referral to other services as appropriate (e.g. insolvency).
  • Paid In Full:
    • Work with OPD clients who are about to complete their program successfully in navigating the final steps.
    • Update the Court and creditors on clients who have Paid in Full.
    • Communicate and coach clients on how to rebuild credit using the Canadian Tire Fresh Start program.
    • Celebrate and cheer clients who have successfully completed their OPD program.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Diploma or degree or relevant experience.
  • Experience: 2 years+ experience in the financial ecosystem or relevant industry.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
    • Passion for and a basic understanding of personal financial concepts
    • Able to navigate various computer systems with ease
    • Time management, organizational and prioritization skills at must
    • Ability to influence and motivate consumers into action
    • Strong focus on delivering an excellent client experience
    • Comfortable with key performance indicators
