Become a key member of the Edwards School of Business as a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Accounting. This role focuses on innovative research and high-quality teaching at the University of Saskatchewan. You will be expected to contribute to the department's scholarly impact, especially in financial accounting, sustainability reporting, and taxation. This position requires a strong commitment to research, with anticipated teaching duties for undergraduate and graduate classes starting July 1, 2027. Candidates with a Ph.D. in Accounting or who are close to completion are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities:
- Produce impactful research published in reputable journals
- Deliver engaging lectures in accounting subjects
- Supervise student projects and dissertation work
- Collaborate with colleagues to further departmental goals
- Promote a culture of research excellence and academic inquiry
- Ph.D. in Accounting or nearing completion
- Preferred CPA designation
- Demonstrated ability in teaching and scholarly research
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to diversity and equity in academia
