Become a Project Specialist at QAI Laboratories in Burnaby, BC, focusing on fire testing and compliance. This role combines technical leadership with project management in a laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will have a technical background with three years of hands-on experience in testing environments. You’ll conduct essential fire resistance tests, troubleshoot issues, and manage concurrent projects while ensuring safety and standards compliance. Strong analytical and communication skills are necessary for this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fire resistance and non-combustibility tests
- Ensure accuracy in testing and technical reporting
- Mentor junior staff and oversee project coordination
- Maintain compliance with ISO and safety standards
- Provide technical support during client meetings
- Technical degree or diploma in a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant laboratory experience
- Ability to interpret technical specifications
- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license mandatory
