Deliver attentive checkout service at Giant Tiger in Grand Falls, using electronic cash registers, mainline, and self-checkout systems. This is a full-time position.
As a Cashier, you will accurately record transactions and help customers find a positive store experience. You will replenish checkout merchandise, maintain an organized work area, and follow health, safety, loss prevention, tobacco, and lottery policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level customer service at checkout
- Record transactions accurately using electronic registers
- Operate mainline and self-checkout systems
- Replenish merchandise around checkout areas
- Maintain clean, organized checkout workspaces
Requirements:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Attention to detail during customer transactions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 18 kilograms
