Develop retail leadership skills at Real Canadian Superstore through department operations, customer service, and team development. Complete training while preparing to lead a grocery department.
As a Grocery Department Manager in Training, you will build skills through a comprehensive development program. You will learn retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, and colleague development. The program prepares you to deliver results for customers, colleagues, and the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of a designated grocery department
- Drive department sales and profitability against performance goals
- Lead, coach, and develop colleagues in key skills
- Manage merchandise stocking, displays, pricing, and replenishment
- Maintain clean, safe, welcoming department environments
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Previous retail management experience is an asset
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Flexible schedule availability, including nights and weekends
- Ability to lift fifty pounds and stand for extended periods
