Oversee distribution center performance with responsibility for training, expenses, personnel policies, and safe warehouse operations. Resolve complex issues independently.
White Cap seeks a Distribution Center Supervisor to manage assigned functional areas and support daily facility operations. You will ensure department goals are achieved, apply SOPs consistently, and administer associate-related processes. This supervisor trains and delegates work, reviews junior associates’ output, and may act as manager without hiring or firing authority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure successful achievement of assigned performance goals
- Ensure compliance with personnel policies and SOPs
- Survey facilities for repair and maintenance items
- Promote and manage workplace safety programs
- Handle refunds, customer problems, and assigned managerial duties
Requirements:
- Generally seven or more years of relevant experience
- Technical certification or associate degree may apply
- Independent judgment under limited supervisory review
- Ability to develop customized solutions for complex problems
- Ability to move or lift light articles occasionally
Bring distribution center leadership, safety oversight, and complex problem-solving experience to White Cap’s warehouse operations.
