In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities and develop meaningful connections within their homes. Your commitment to care will improve the quality of life for seniors while allowing for professional growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Monitor changes in clients' conditions
- Aid in safe patient mobility and transfers
- Offer emotional support and companionship
- Registration with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Completion of a Health Care Assistant program
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Current TB test and background checks
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
