Our story started in the summer of 1994, when our founder taught 50 kids to swim in his parents' backyard pool. Not exactly a corporate headquarters, but it worked. It gave us the freedom to focus on what still matters most today: real progress in the pool, strong relationships with families, and giving back to our community.
Today, Making Waves has grown, but our focus is the same: helping swimmers build real skills, real confidence, and real progress in the water. We're building a team of standout instructors — energetic, dependable people who love helping swimmers grow and making lessons the best part of someone's week.
