You'll be stepping into a busy, well-resourced practice with senior lawyers who are genuinely invested in mentoring the next generation of litigators. Running your own caseload of personal injury files from the intake stage through to resolution
Evaluating new claims and shaping litigation strategy alongside clients
Partnering with senior counsel on the firm's larger and more complicated files
Keeping clients in the loop at every stage of their case
Digging into medical, financial, and employment records to build out liability and damages positions
Liaising with medical experts and other outside professionals as files demand
2–5 years of hands-on personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff or defence)
~ Good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
~ Solid grasp of Ontario's civil litigation rules and PI-specific law
~ A track record of advocating and negotiating effectively for clients
~ The ability to juggle a busy docket without losing quality
~ A steady pipeline of substantive, well-developed files
A culture that takes advocacy and client service seriously — without the ego
