Lead liquor retail operations at Liquor Depot Mount Royal through staff coaching, customer service, and daily store coordination. Support opening, closing, and sales goals.
As an Assistant Store Manager with Ace Liquor Discounter, you will help supervise, coach, and train staff. The position supports recruitment, onboarding, performance management, inventory, ordering, receiving, and financial documentation. You will work closely with the Store Manager on staffing, operational needs, and sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with supervising, coaching, and training staff
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
- Coordinate opening, closing, communication, and task assignments
- Assist with inventory counts, ordering, and receiving
- Check identification and support Alberta alcohol compliance
Requirements:
- Two or more years of retail experience
- Two or more years in a supervisory role
- ProServe certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability
Bring reliable leadership, strong communication, and retail operations experience to support Ace Liquor customers and store performance.
