Director of Global Sourcing – Hard goods 100% Remote We are representing a well-established retail organization with a global supply chain network, seeking a highly experienced Director of Global Sourcing – Hard Goods. This fully remote leadership role is ideal for a strategic sourcing professional with deep expertise in international retail purchasing and supplier management. You will be responsible for leading a global sourcing team, developing and executing sourcing strategies, negotiating supplier contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality finished goods. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including supply chain, logistics, and quality assurance to optimize operations across multiple distribution centers. A key component of this position is international travel—up to 40%—to maintain strong supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of global sourcing experience, with a strong background in vendor management, global sourcing and international travel. Experience in sourcing finished goods (rather than raw materials) within a retail environment is essential, as the company does not manufacture its own products. This role demands a highly analytical, data-driven leader with exceptional negotiation skills and a proven ability to build and inspire high-performing teams. You must be comfortable leading by example and motivating others to achieve operational excellence. Candidates must also have the appropriate travel status to support international travel.
