As an Estimator with Seymour Pacific Developments, you will prepare full-cost estimates and work with the Senior Estimator toward executive approval. You will analyze plans, specifications, historical data, incoming departmental information, materials, labour, equipment, and project duration. Your estimates support budgets, proposals, project accounting, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate estimates using ProContractor Estimating software
- Analyze plans and specifications to determine project costs
- Complete material, labour, and equipment takeoffs
- Document estimates for accounting and financial reporting
- Prepare change order and comparative method proposals
Requirements:
- Post-secondary diploma in Construction Management, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum two years of construction estimating experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office and database systems skills
- Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and planning skills
